Effective date: 26 September 2026. Version 1.0.
These Rental Terms establish the general rules for vehicles offered by PHUKET 24 ONLINE CO., LTD., Tax ID 0835561011742, at 96/7 Moo 7, Soi Saiyuan, Rawai, Phuket 83130, Thailand (the “Company”, “RC24”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
The terms of a particular rental are agreed individually and recorded in the vehicle or special-offer page, written booking confirmation, appendices, vehicle handover report and the rental agreement concluded with the renter.
1. Purpose of these Rental Terms
This page contains general rental rules and is not by itself a rental agreement, a public offer, a guarantee that a vehicle is available or an unconditional obligation of the Company to provide a vehicle.
Submitting a request through the website is an invitation to discuss a possible rental. It does not by itself create a booking, guarantee a vehicle or oblige the Company to enter into a rental agreement.
A particular rental agreement is concluded directly during communication with the customer after the vehicle, rental period, price, handover location, deposit, insurance cover and other material terms have been agreed.
2. Special terms of a particular offer
The rental terms for individual vehicles and offers may differ from these general Rental Terms.
Special terms may appear on the page of a particular vehicle, in a promotion or special-offer description, in a quotation or written confirmation, in appendices and the handover report, or directly in the rental agreement.
Special terms apply only to the relevant vehicle or offer and only to the extent they were communicated to the customer and incorporated or expressly confirmed in the documents for that rental.
In the event of inconsistency, the following order applies: mandatory Thai law, the signed rental agreement, its appendices and handover report, written confirmation of the agreed terms, the special terms of the particular offer, and then these general Rental Terms.
3. Request and booking confirmation
Prices, availability and calculations displayed on the website are preliminary unless expressly stated otherwise.
A booking is confirmed only after the Company has checked vehicle availability, received the required information and documents, agreed the material terms with the customer, confirmed the booking in writing and received any payment or advance payment required for confirmation.
Until a booking is confirmed, the Company may accept another request for the same vehicle or offer the customer another vehicle, dates or terms.
Before the agreement is signed, the Company may decline a rental where the vehicle is unavailable, the customer has not provided required information or documents, has not made an agreed payment, does not meet driver requirements, or there are reasonable concerns about the safety or legality of the proposed use.
4. Requirements for the renter and drivers
The renter and every permitted driver must hold a valid driving licence recognised in Thailand, meet the age, driving-experience and other requirements for the particular vehicle, provide accurate personal and contact information, provide the necessary identity, immigration and driving documents, and have no medical, legal or other restriction preventing safe driving.
The Company may verify the documents and decline to hand over the vehicle if they are missing, invalid, do not meet the requirements or give reasonable grounds to doubt their authenticity.
The vehicle must not be driven by anyone who is not identified in the agreement as a permitted driver.
5. Vehicle and availability
Photographs, equipment, colour, model year and other characteristics on the website describe the offer. The actual vehicle characteristics are specified in the documents for the particular rental.
If the selected vehicle becomes unavailable for technical, operational or other reasons, the Company may offer a vehicle of the same or comparable class, a different class with an appropriate price adjustment, different rental dates, or cancellation with a refund of payments that are refundable under the agreement and law.
Any replacement is handled subject to the customer’s consent, the particular booking terms and mandatory law.
6. Rental price and additional charges
The final price is determined by the rental agreement and may depend on the vehicle, rental duration, handover and return location, mileage, delivery, additional equipment, number of drivers, insurance cover, promotion and other agreed services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the price does not include fuel or charging, toll roads, parking, ferries and transportation, administrative and government charges, fines and other violations, delivery or return outside the agreed place, excess mileage, special cleaning, damage or loss, or additional services ordered by the renter.
All applicable mandatory charges, rates and calculation methods are recorded in the documents for the particular rental.
7. Advance payment, cancellation and no-show
The amount of any advance payment, cancellation procedure and refund terms are determined by the particular offer and written booking confirmation.
If the customer cancels, fails to appear, fails to provide required documents or refuses to sign the previously agreed agreement, payments are returned or retained in accordance with the confirmed terms, documented expenses and Thai law.
If the Company cancels a confirmed booking and the customer does not accept an offered replacement, payments received for the rental that did not take place are returned as required by the agreement and law.
8. Security deposit
A security deposit may be required. Its amount, payment method, grounds for deduction and return procedure are stated in the agreement.
The deposit secures the renter’s obligations but is not a predetermined penalty and does not limit the renter’s total liability.
Where permitted by the agreement and law, documented amounts relating to damage or loss of the vehicle, keys, documents or equipment; insurance excess and uninsured loss; missing fuel or charge; excess mileage; late return; special cleaning; fines, tolls, parking and related administration; or other material breaches may be deducted from the deposit.
If the amount payable exceeds the deposit, the renter must pay the difference. The unused balance is returned after inspection in the manner and within the period required by the agreement and mandatory law.
9. Vehicle handover
The vehicle is handed over at the agreed time and place after the required documents have been signed and required payments have been made.
At handover, the parties record the condition of the vehicle, mileage, fuel or charge level, existing damage, equipment, keys and documents. This may be recorded in writing and by photographs or video.
The renter must inspect the vehicle and report any unrecorded damage or discrepancy before use. Signing the handover report confirms acceptance of the vehicle in the condition stated in that report.
10. Renter’s obligations
From handover until actual return, the renter must use the vehicle carefully and for its intended purpose; comply with law and traffic rules; take reasonable precautions against damage, theft and loss; use the fuel or charging equipment specified by the manufacturer; monitor dashboard warnings and basic operating indicators; avoid unnecessarily leaving keys or documents in the vehicle; allow only permitted drivers to drive; promptly notify the Company of faults, accidents, damage, detention or towing; and return the vehicle, keys, documents and equipment at the agreed time, place and condition.
To the extent permitted by the agreement and law, the renter is responsible for the conduct of permitted drivers and other persons to whom the renter gives access to the vehicle.
11. Prohibited use
Without the Company’s prior written consent, the vehicle must not be sub-rented or supplied to third parties; used as a taxi or for paid carriage of passengers or goods; used for racing, speed testing, competitions or training; used off-road or on roads unsuitable for the vehicle; used to tow another vehicle or trailer; used to carry dangerous, illegal or vehicle-damaging items; used to commit an offence; taken outside the agreed territory or across a national border; modified; or repaired, dismantled, towed or fitted with replacement parts, except where immediately necessary to prevent harm.
Driving while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication that prevents safe driving, or without a valid right to drive, is prohibited.
12. Mileage, fuel, charging and interior condition
The mileage allowance, excess-mileage price, fuel or charging policy and return requirements are established for the particular vehicle.
Unless agreed otherwise, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel or charge level as at handover. Missing fuel or charge and any agreed refuelling or charging costs are payable by the renter.
Normal wear resulting from proper use is not damage. Excessive soiling, smoking traces, interior damage, persistent odours, animal hair and contamination requiring special cleaning or restoration may be charged separately where the relevant rules and rates were part of the rental terms.
13. Extension, early return and late return
An extension is valid only after the Company has approved it in writing and the additional period has been paid for.
A request to extend does not itself confirm an extension. Until written confirmation is received, the renter must return the vehicle at the originally agreed time.
An unauthorised delay is subject to the charges and other consequences stated in the agreement. A material delay without contacting the Company may constitute a material breach and result in lawful measures to recover the vehicle.
An early return does not automatically result in recalculation or refund. Any recalculation or refund is determined by the applicable rate, special terms and the agreement for the particular rental.
14. Insurance and excess
Insurance does not completely release the renter from liability.
The type of insurance, limits, excess, exclusions and claim procedure are stated in the agreement. Insurance may not cover deliberate conduct or gross negligence; driving under the influence; driving by an unauthorised driver; use outside the permitted territory or purpose; tyres, wheels, glass, underbody, interior, keys or equipment where excluded by the policy; damage not reported promptly; failure to follow a mandatory incident procedure; administrative fines, personal belongings or indirect expenses.
The specific extent of responsibility is determined by the agreement, applicable insurance policy, circumstances and law.
15. Accident, damage, theft or seizure
In the event of an accident, damage, theft, attempted theft, fire, flooding, towing, detention or seizure, the renter must immediately stop using the vehicle if further driving may be dangerous; take reasonable measures to protect persons and property; contact the police or emergency services where required; promptly notify the Company; preserve photographs, video, participant and witness details and other evidence; obtain required police and insurer documents; avoid admitting liability or settling with third parties without approval unless required by law; and fully cooperate with the Company and insurer.
Failure to follow this procedure may affect insurance cover and the renter’s responsibility to the extent provided by the policy, agreement and law.
16. Breakdown and assistance
If signs of a technical fault appear, the renter must stop in a safe place and contact the Company.
Repairs, towing or replacement of parts must not be arranged without prior approval, except for reasonable action immediately required to prevent danger or greater loss.
Repair, assistance and replacement arrangements are determined by the agreement. Replacement depends on the cause of the fault and actual vehicle availability. Where a fault or damage results from the renter’s conduct or breach, the related costs may be charged to the renter.
17. Fines, tolls and third-party claims
The renter is responsible for fines, traffic violations, parking, toll roads, towing, storage and other charges arising during the renter’s actual use of the vehicle.
If a demand is received after return, the Company may provide competent authorities with information required to identify the driver or seek reimbursement of the amount paid and any reasonable administration costs stated in the agreement.
18. Return of the vehicle
The vehicle must be returned to an authorised Company representative at the agreed time and place. Leaving the vehicle or keys without a representative does not complete the return unless that method was agreed in advance.
At return, the vehicle is inspected and its condition, completeness, mileage and fuel or charge level are recorded.
The renter must provide reasonable access for inspection. Damage and missing items are documented. Any later claim may be made only in the manner permitted by the agreement and law and must be supported by available evidence.
19. Material breach
Material breaches may include providing false information or documents; driving by an unauthorised person; non-payment of agreed sums; unlawful or dangerous use; breach of territorial limits; attempted sale, pledge, concealment or transfer of the vehicle; failure to return it after the agreed period; or conduct creating a material risk of loss or harm.
In the event of a material breach, the Company may require immediate cessation of use and return of the vehicle, terminate the agreement and take lawful measures to recover it. The renter must compensate documented losses and expenses to the extent required by the agreement and law.
20. Personal belongings
The renter is responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle. The Company is not liable for their loss or damage except where its liability cannot be excluded by law.
Items found after return may be stored for a reasonable period. Shipping or delivery costs are paid by the owner of the items.
21. Events outside reasonable control
The Company is not responsible for delay or inability to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, war, civil unrest, government action, road closures, transport restrictions, communication outages and other emergency events.
The Company may offer postponement, replacement or termination. Financial settlement is made having regard to services actually provided, the agreement and mandatory law.
22. Limitation of liability
The Company is not responsible for consequences caused by the renter’s breach of law, the agreement, manufacturer instructions or these Rental Terms, or for independent arrangements between the renter and third parties.
The Company does not guarantee the absence of delays, road restrictions, weather conditions or other external events affecting travel plans.
Nothing in these Rental Terms excludes the Company’s liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by Thai law.
23. Law, language and rental agreement
These Rental Terms and the particular rental are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
The actual rental is documented by a separate agreement that complies with mandatory Thai requirements and identifies the parties and vehicle, rental period and place, price, deposit, return terms, insurance, responsibility, replacement arrangements and other terms of the particular transaction.
The principal consumer agreement is prepared in Thai. Translations may be supplied for convenience, but the Thai text prevails in the event of inconsistency unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Disputes are addressed through negotiation and, if not resolved, by competent Thai authorities and courts subject to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules.
